How to eat your greens in a healthy way

collard green has a lot going for it, but it also has some downsides.

A new study out of Johns Hopkins University found that the greens contain about two-thirds the amount of chemicals found in other crops, including soy, corn, and cotton. 

These are the types of chemicals that are used to kill weeds and control pests in fields. 

But collard’s pesticide-heavy ingredients also make it a great source of micronutrients, which are essential for keeping the body healthy. 

In a study published last year in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, researchers compared the nutritional profile of collard and soybeans and found that they were comparable. 

They also compared the antioxidant content of the two greens, finding that collards had more antioxidant activity than soybeans. 

The researchers concluded that a combination of a wide array of greens has a positive impact on health and can help keep you alive. 

“Our findings show that the combination of collards and soy foods can be a good source of vitamin A, vitamin B6, and calcium,” lead author Dr. Stephanie F. Bannister, a postdoctoral researcher at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, said in a press release.

“We also found that consuming collards rich in iron, magnesium, and zinc can improve blood sugar and glucose control, and that eating collards high in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants can reduce the risk of heart disease.” 

While this study isn’t comprehensive, it provides some solid data on the nutritional value of collars.

The researchers say that, in general, the greens have a higher antioxidant content than other vegetables. 

However, if you’re looking for a more complex nutrient profile, there are many other options. 

And remember, collards are a whole-grain product, so if you prefer a more nutritious option, there’s a wide range of different brands available.
