How Trump has revived his campaign theme, and why he may not win this fall

President Donald Trump is using his reelection campaign theme “The America We Deserve” to try to revive his campaign slogan that he used on the campaign trail to promise to “make America great again.”

Trump’s “America Again” campaign slogan has been widely adopted by Republicans, but it is not clear if it will resonate with many voters in 2020.

The president is targeting black voters and Hispanics in particular with the slogan in hopes of appealing to them in the wake of a divisive election.

On Friday, Trump appeared on the Fox Business Network to talk about the campaign theme and what it could mean for the future.

“When you look at the demographics, the demographics of the African-American community, and the Hispanics, the Hispanics in America today are going to vote for somebody who represents all of us,” Trump said.

“That is the America we deserve.

So, that is what I’m trying to say.”

Trump is hoping the slogan will resonate.

“The fact is, the black community, Hispanics, women and so many other demographics, you know, in our country, you’re going to be voting for somebody that represents all the people,” Trump added.

“So, that’s what I was trying to do with the ‘The America Again’ campaign slogan.

It’s an inclusive message.

And, I’m not even going to name the names.

But you know what I mean.

I’m saying, ‘The Americas, the Americas are coming together.

The American dream is alive.’

So, it’s not just ‘The People’s’ president, but the American dream, the American spirit is alive, and we’re going for the American Dream again.”

In the Fox News interview, Trump added that his slogan will not just appeal to white voters but to voters who feel “the economic and cultural distress that we’ve been through.”

The president also said he wants to “change the political culture,” especially in the Republican Party.

“We’re going in a very different direction,” Trump told the host.

“We’re changing the political establishment.

We’re changing all the other groups that have a big hand in the political system.

We are going in the direction of not only the Democratic Party but we’re also going in an entirely new direction, which is we’re not going to just do things the old way.

We have to do things very differently.

We can’t just do it like this, we have to change the political way.”

He said “We are going down a different path.”

Trump said the Republican leadership is the problem, but he is not sure they can do much to change it.

“I think the Republicans have got to make changes.

I think they can’t do much.

I just don’t know if they can change the leadership of the Republican party, but they’ve got to be able to do a little bit of a shake-up,” he said.

The Fox Business interview also included Trump’s own response to his controversial comments about Mexican immigrants in his speech at the Republican National Convention.

The Republican Party is in a “death spiral,” Trump argued.

“They have no direction.

And they have no control over it,” he added.

Trump also accused Democrats of being “trying to destroy” the country.
