Army dress greens to be released as winter wears on
Army dress green is back in the news with the announcement that it will be released in December 2018.
The news comes after a petition was started to ban the product from sale in the UK.

In December 2018, the army issued a statement that it was looking at the issue of a “green army” and that the issue had been addressed.
“The UK’s Armed Forces have been asked to reconsider the introduction of the green Army dress.
As part of this, they will be introducing a new uniform colour that will be available for purchase from the end of January 2019,” the statement read.
It continued: “This change will allow for a further period of uniform consistency and quality assurance to be achieved in accordance with the new uniform code.”
Soldiers who have already worn the green uniform will be offered a choice between a navy and navy blue shirt.
Some people, including celebrities, have complained that the green shirt looks like a fake and could cause health problems.
